GFH and Massimo Cellino are currently jumping through a set of hoops set up by Shaun Harvey, who we upset quite enough last year, so we have to tread carefully or we might not get our money and Massimo might not get his football club. It’s all frightfully complex and even we don’t understand it, so we don’t see how you rabble are going to make head or tail of it.
The thing is – we’re on with it, OK?? It’ll be done when it’s done, as long as Shaun’s in a good mood. So stop nagging. We don’t mind putting out the odd statement now and then, but don’t expect us to give any actual info to mere turnstile fodder. Just trust us, right? Have we ever let you down? Actually, skip that one.
David Haigh has left GFH and gone to work with Cellino’s daughter, Eleonora, who is apparently a sport. He’s not daft, is he? Knows which side his bread is buttered, that one.
We would like to thank those of you who have continued to part with your hard-earned to see us ship nine goals in two home games. God knows where we’d be without you lot now that Massimo’s pulled the plug. Just hang on in there, it’ll be fine. Probably.

Actually Rob I think it’s all one conspiracy in an attempt to make the FL feel sorry for us.
By being thrashed on a regular basis and dropping down the league, and now with Cellino threatening to withdraw funds (given for this purpose), we will have relegation and administration hanging over us (again).
With no other ‘serious’ bidders coming forth this puts Cellino in the ‘saviour’ bracket. Should the FL refuse his request to save Leeds (cough) they will appear even more heartless b******s than ever’ and will be responsible for signing Leeds’ death warrant.
Problem is no else knows this – Brian, players, media or fans.

Always knew that GFHc was scammers from the beginning & bad for us.
Hardly any of their so called projects worked out, They drained all what they could from “investors” who got wise in the end not until it was to late for them though.

Makes me f#####g laugh – Chelsea have fit an proper Abramovich – Birmingham have honest John Carson Yeung, who has just been given a long stretch for being bent – I thinks that this is about Leeds not Cellino – sick of the whole bullshit debacle – not one club is run by straight business people – they all fiddle the bloody tax system then have the neck to judge others – the league need a f#####g slap – or a Pardew butt!
As a life long Leeds fan who remembers losing to Bayern Munich – or should I say being fiddled by UEFA or whatever they were called then I apologise for any history that offends the British public!

How about this for a depressing (and hopefully unrealistic).
The football league(Harvey) drag their feet for so long Cellino gets truly hacked off, and buggers off back to Miami with his cash. GFH crap their selfs and instantly put us into administration at which point captain Birdseye comings riding back in on his nazgûl, buys the club for threpence hay penny while resurrecting all his vanity projects at the clubs expense, and selling anything not nailed down!! In fairness as long as that doesn’t happen I can live with everything else!! Ha ha

GFH have proved to be the most inept and incompetent set of “BANKERS” (I omit the W out of respect ) on earth. As an investment bank this must have done wonders for their portfolio. The value of their investment in LUFC is falling like a stone, if the takeover fails to go through quickly we will be in administration again and the most likely candidates for chief creditors are Cellino and Haigh who will be owed substantial sums. Between GFH and the Football League once again we are being royally shafted with no word of explanation or clarity from either party. The latest statement from GFH is meaningless bullshit. God help us.

Given the Football League has a golden opportunity to kill us off once and for all – how Croker and Hardaker would love it!- I often wonder if it would have been better to have been liquidated and reborn as another club when we bust last time. Like Rangers – not that their particular example is inspiring. But we are run by spivs, courted by crooks and peopled on the pitch by callow and/or superannuated deadbeats (Rossco and Mowatt excepted). Had to imagine how things could be worse really. 41 years since my first match and it’s never been as bad as this.

I agree,but GFH are taking a gamble with our club by siding wit said people.We know about his past,we didn’t know what Bates or GFH would do.All i mean is,the man has history,fact,and we basically need him,or the unthinkable happens…..we go into administration!! My round about way of saying what i mean is….we are hoping a man of dodgy past dealings buys us,but we kinda hope he doesn’t do us in the future!! There must be something really rotten in the background, and belly of our club,has to be!! I don’t just think throwing cash at us will solve our ill’s……..it goes deeper and further than that!! And can Cellino,(and Haigh now) be the people to stitch those wounds,and let help them heal?? You know my thoughts to that question……time will tell!!

I’ve been a Leeds fan and supporter since the days of manager Major Buckley(a long time) never seen anything like whats going on now, 1st Rate Fans,2 rate manager, 5th rate team, 100 rate owners. you could’nt make it up. they’ve NO pride. premier league NO chance with this lot. £24 for a ticket they should be done for fraud.

I’d suggest that GFH’s ridiculous statement made perfect sense when they wrote it out in Arabic. The secretary then put into Google Translate and out came the garbled, trite nonsense “Statement”. They really would have been better off saying nothing, because it comes across as a condescending cop-out.

I think if we go into administration, and I’ve been a fan since the 60’s, I would love to see real supporters take hold of the club somehow, and break with the past .It might sound drastic , but how long can we go on like this ? Generations of Leeds fans wait in anticipation while the LUFC golf day is advertised, so we can rub shoulders with ex players who despite their once great skills, are in no way as depressed over all this as we are, I presume. Time to move on me thinks, sack the shite badge, move on with a new club, new name ? all white kit, owl/smiley badge ?, Captain has to wear number 4 shirt , oh god I’m drifting……….
