And you won. I take that – it was a democratic process and sometimes in the democratic process you lose, as I have done.
The referendum has activated the political energies of people who haven’t been interested in politics for some time, so we are told, and many of them are like you, who voted to leave. So here’s the plea of the losing side to you now.

“And vote for the people who will tell you uncomfortable, complicated truths, rather than easy, simple lies”.
Sadly that would rule out voting for either side of this particular debate.
It was a complicated decision either way and neither way was wholly upside. Some of what comes to pass will come to pass but it will be wrong to automatically attribute it to Brexit. To do that would be to go for the simple lies.

He’s wrong because the Leave vote won democratically. I wonder why all the war criminals who voted for blairs war should suddenly try to sabotage Corbyn also? Mmm,oh yeah,they’ve got 15 days before the chilcott report is published. And by the way,David Lammy voted for it too.

Lots of Leavers are having second and better thoughts. And yes, it was democracy, but of a diluted kind – advisory only. Anyone with eyes and ears and even half a brain can see the seismic consequences of Brexit – a decision of that magnitude should be taken by a supermajority, not 50% + 1 vote. That was just a recipe for splitting the country – exactly as it has.

Well rob the referendum took place everybody had one vote , the leave campaign won, I believe we call that democracy do we not, David lammy should have the grace to abide by the decision ,the will of the people have spoken .

The whole thing was a massive mistake, driving a wedge through the whole nation for the sake of what is merely an advisory referendum. Lammy is 100% right in what he says and would be derelict in his duty as he sees it if he failed to try and retrieve the situation.

Unfortunately,the majority of remain voters aren’t aware of the consequences of staying in. Yes we’re going to take a hit from vengeful bankers etc,but we’ve avoided the evil TTIP and EU army. I am proud that it was the good people of the north of England who got us out of jail. I hope London DOES break away and that they keep their disgusting royal family as well. The EU is about to fail anyway,only last week Switzerland withdrew their application to join but that didn’t get reported. The people of Greece wrote an open letter urging us to get out and that went unreported also. What democracy eh? The British establishment tried all kinds of dirty tricks,even pulling the same stunt Sweden pulled in 2003 when their EU ref was approaching. Both failed. The majority have stuck up two fingers to the 1% and hopefully it looks like there’ll be a domino effect across Europe now. 19 years of accounts and the EU has been proven to be even more corrupt than FIFA. I urge anyone spitting their dummies out to piss off to America if they want to be slaves.

I think you need to look at the TTIP and its consequences for Britain before you accuse me of “digs” because had we we stayed it would have meant a large proportion of the population would have been slaves. Also its a bit rich making snide remarks regarding the sanity of those you disagree with when you spend your time posting bitter and twisted posts about Leeds United’s rivals twice weekly. I think THAT on its own would suggest a lack of rationality and an inability to accept losing/being wrong = psychopathy.

If you acquaint yourself on the facts of the TTIP then we may be able to continue a rational discussion. Its no use to anyone flinging insults at those who disagree with you. Had we succumbed to the black.ail of Obama and the1% it would have meant disaster for Britain. You’ll realise this in time,just as you’ll realise why Steve Evans wasn’t the man for Leeds United.
