Marching On Together
I have a question perhaps you could answer for me please.
Since 1969 when I started following Leeds United their badge has changed many many times. Although the present one is good ( I have it tattooed on )there have been some really bad one’s none worse than that awful smiley, the owl was good but to much to do with a smaller Yorkshire team. WHY can’t we just stay with our original badge like other sucessfull clubs.

Opinions? I like the “smiley” badge, incidentally.

Thats fine Rob, but why so many changes?

You’d have to ask the various marketing men down the years!

I prefer the Owl badge despite the association with a small club down the road. I started supporting Leeds United in 1967 as a wee 4 year old. It’s the best badge we’ve had although the charabanc outside has the smiley badge and the current one festooned upon it.

Cosmic! My charabanc is identically festooned!!
