Chance puts hazards in our way
And yet this life is ours to make
Reject the part luck has to play
Pause and think; make no mistake
Each of us must seize the day

Dare defy the whims of fate
Innate ambition is your friend
Exert your will, it’s not too late
Make YOUR life what YOU intend.
